Asset Description
The SmartSpot is a multifunctional IoT device designed for environmental monitoring and supporting smart city solutions. Developed by HOPU and now integrated into Libelium's product portfolio, the SmartSpot measures parameters such as air quality, noise and humidity, providing accurate, real-time data to improve urban quality of life.
Technical Information
The SmartSpot includes a variety of advanced sensors capable of measuring particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10), pollutant gases (NO2, CO, O3), noise levels and humidity. The device uses the Lightweight M2M (LwM2M) protocol for remote management and firmware upgrade, and integrates with Libelium cloud servers and other third-party platforms to facilitate data collection, analysis and visualization. Its architecture enables easy integration into smart city infrastructures, supporting environmental management and sustainable urban planning.
Usage
To use the SmartSpot, users must follow the installation and configuration instructions provided by Libelium. This includes placing the device in strategic areas for environmental monitoring and configuring connectivity through the LwM2M protocol.
